WHAT IS AR 2000?

AR 2000 (Asphalt Rejuvenator 2000) is formulated by blending high quality tar oils with a rejuvenating agent. To ensure that the product conforms to very stringent specifications, every manufactured batch of AR 2000 is rigorously examined by independent testing facilities. AR 2000 penetrates into the asphalt surface, replenishing lost bitumen and restoring ductility and viscosity to near original values. As AR 2000 rejuvenates, it seals the asphalt at and beneath its surface, providing fuel and chemical resistance. A single application of AR 2000 will rejuvenate and seal the pavement for three to five years.

HOW DOES AR 2000 WORK?

As asphalt ages, substantial oxidization and ultraviolet rays from the sun cause loss of bitumen, reducing durability while increasing the brittleness of the pavement. AR 2000 penetrates the surface and regenerates bitumen, thereby restoring ductility and viscosity. AR 2000, when penetrated into the asphalt surface, does not produce any buildup, therefore treatment can be repeated as required to further extend the life of the pavement.

HOW IS AR 2000 APPLIED?

The surface to be treated requires minimal preparation. AR 2000 is applied in liquid form with high-tech computer controlled sprayers. To ensure application accuracy, spray rates and vehicle speed are electronically monitored.
